- 1 pound chicken breasts
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Turn on the Instant Pot and set it to ‘Sauté’. Add olive oil.
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Sauté until browned.
- Add rice and chicken broth, then stir to combine.
- Lock the lid and set to ‘Manual’ for 8 minutes.
- Once done, allow for natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then quick release the remaining pressure.
- Stir in frozen peas and let sit for a few minutes before serving.

- Substitute brown rice for white rice, but adjust cooking time accordingly.
