Absolutely Easiest Divinity Fudge Recipe (Just 4 Ingredients!)

This recipe delivers the delightful flavor of classic divinity candy in a ridiculously easy fudge form using just 4 ingredients. It's fast, simple, and perfect for gifts or quick treats.
Prep Time 10 minutes

Equipment

  • 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch square baking pan
  • Parchment paper or foil
  • Medium microwave-safe bowl or double boiler
  • Spatula
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 3 cup white chocolate chips Good quality is key
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz can; NOT evaporated milk
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans Or more, adjust to liking
  • 6 divinity candy 6-8 pieces, roughly chopped

Instructions

  • First things first, get your pan ready. Line an 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving some overhang on the sides.
  • In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and the entire can of sweetened condensed milk.
  • Microwave on 50% power, stirring every 30-60 seconds, until the mixture is smooth and completely melted. This usually takes about 2-3 minutes total. (Alternatively, do this in a double boiler on the stovetop, stirring constantly).
  • Once melted and smooth, stir in the chopped pecans and the chopped divinity candy pieces. Make sure everything is evenly distributed.
  • Quickly pour the mixture into your prepared pan and spread it out evenly with a spatula.
  • Now comes the hardest part: waiting! Let the fudge set completely. You can leave it at room temperature for a few hours, or pop it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to speed things up. It needs to be firm enough to cut.
  • Once set, use the parchment or foil overhang to lift the whole block of fudge out of the pan. Place it on a cutting board.
  • Cut into squares using a sharp knife. Wipe the knife blade occasionally for cleaner cuts.
  • Serve and watch it disappear!

Notes

Substitutions & Additions:
- Nuts: Swap pecans for walnuts, almonds, or macadamia nuts.
- Extracts: Stir in ½ tsp vanilla, almond, or coconut extract.
- Mix-ins: Sprinkle with flaky sea salt before setting, swirl in caramel, or add mini marshmallows.
- No Divinity Candy? Omit for a white chocolate pecan fudge, but it won't have the unique texture and flavor pockets of Divinity Fudge.
Tips for Success:
- Don't Overheat: White chocolate is finicky; melt low and slow.
- Line Your Pan! Essential for easy removal and cutting.
- Patience is a Virtue (for Setting): Allow ample time to set for clean cuts.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. Let chilled fudge sit out briefly before serving for best texture.
