  • 450 g Ground turkey thighs using thighs for more flavor and juiciness
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 0.5 cup Fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard for flavor tang and depth
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise helps bind and keeps burgers moist
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper for warmth
  • 1 tsp Diamond Crystal kosher salt start with 1/2 tsp table salt if using
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika for grilled flavor
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil for pan-frying

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, gently combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, chopped parsley, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, black pepper, kosher salt, and smoked paprika. Mix gently to avoid overworking the turkey.
  • Divide the turkey mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 3/4-inch thick.
  • Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Heat until the oil shimmers.
  • Carefully place the turkey patties into the hot skillet, leaving space between them. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cook the burgers for about 4-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove the burgers from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for a few minutes before serving on buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

These burgers can be prepped a day in advance. Store cooked burgers in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2-3 months.
