4th of July Swirl Pie

A festive and delicious dessert perfect for the 4th of July, featuring a graham cracker crust, creamy filling, and vibrant red and blue berry swirls.

Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1.25 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10 full sheets)
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter melted

Filling

  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream cold

Red Swirl

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled & chopped
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Blue Swirl

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, 3 tbsp sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  • In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and ¾ cup powdered sugar until smooth. Beat in vanilla extract.
  • In a cold bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Spread half of the cream cheese mixture into the baked crust. In separate bowls, gently mash strawberries and blueberries with 2 tbsp sugar each. Swirl half of each berry mixture onto the cream cheese layer.
  • Top with the remaining cream cheese mixture, then swirl the remaining berries on top.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use homemade graham cracker crumbs. You can also substitute other berries if desired.
