Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti Casserole Heaven!

A creamy, cheesy, and comforting spaghetti casserole.

Equipment

  • 9x13 inch baking dish Or similar sized baking dish
  • Large pot For boiling spaghetti

Ingredients
  

Pasta & Sauce

  • 12 oz spaghetti noodles
  • 1 jar marinara or spaghetti sauce 24 oz jar
  • 1 tsp salt for boiling water

Meat & Cheese

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning to the skillet; cook for 1 minute more.
  • Stir in the softened cream cheese and marinara sauce until melted and combined.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce mixture and stir to coat.
  • Pour the spaghetti mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

For a spicier casserole, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
