Ingredients
Pasta & Chicken
1lbcooked chickenshredded or diced
12ozpenne or rigatoni pasta
Sauce & Cheese
2cupsmarinara sauce
1cupheavy cream
2cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
0.5cupgrated Parmesan cheese
1tbspolive oil
1tspgarlic powder
saltto taste
pepperto taste
fresh basil or parsleyoptional, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, heavy cream, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Stir until well combined.
Pour the pasta mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through and cheese is melted and slightly browned.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, if desired.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
