Baked Rainbow Trout with Lemon, Black Pepper, and Garlic

Ingredients
  

Trout and Seasoning

  • 2 each Rainbow Trout Fillets About 6 ounces each
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground

Lemon and Garlic

  • 1 lemon Lemon Thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place trout fillets in a baking dish.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the fillets.
  • Season with black pepper.
  • Top each fillet with lemon slices and minced garlic.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the trout in lemon juice and garlic for 30 minutes before baking.
