Bang Bang Chicken Skewers

Spicy and sweet chicken skewers with a creamy bang bang sauce.

Equipment

  • Grill or Grill Pan For grilling the chicken skewers.
  • Skewers Metal or soaked wooden skewers.

Ingredients
  

Chicken Marinade

  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha Or more, to taste
  • 1 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp Lime juice

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and garlic powder. Add the chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  • Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  • Grill the chicken skewers for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  • While the chicken is grilling, prepare the bang bang sauce by whisking together the mayonnaise, sriracha, sweet chili sauce, and lime juice.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
  • Serve the chicken skewers immediately, drizzled with the bang bang sauce.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions, if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade or bang bang sauce.
