Boursin with Pistachios & Honey

A ridiculously simple gourmet appetizer featuring creamy Boursin cheese, crunchy pistachios, and a sweet, spicy drizzle of hot honey, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying as a treat.

  • Serving plate or a small, pretty dish
  • Knife for chopping pistachios if no food processor is available
  • Cutting board for chopping pistachios

  • 5.4 ounce Boursin cheese Garlic & Herb recommended
  • 0.5 cup roasted salted shelled pistachios chopped or crushed
  • 3 tablespoons hot honey adjust amount to taste
  • Crackers or apple slices for dipping

Instructions
 

  • Place the Boursin cheese wheel in the center of your serving plate or dish. If firm, let it sit out for a few minutes to soften slightly.

  • Generously sprinkle the chopped or crushed pistachios evenly over the top of the Boursin cheese, covering it to the edges.

  • Drizzle the hot honey artfully over the pistachios and cheese. Aim for a zig-zag pattern or swirls to cover all areas.

  • Arrange crackers or apple slices around the cheese on the plate or serve them in a separate bowl nearby. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, let the Boursin cheese sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes before serving to allow it to soften and enhance its flavors. You can chop pistachios ahead of time and assemble the cheese and nuts up to a few hours before serving, adding the hot honey just before presentation.
