Broccoli Cheese Patties

Ingredients
  

Broccoli Mixture

  • 2 cups Chopped broccoli florets Steamed until tender-crisp
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg beaten egg
  • 1 tablespoon All-purpose flour

Breadcrumbs and Seasoning

  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko recommended
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 /2 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine the steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, egg, and flour in a large bowl. Mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Form the broccoli mixture into small patties (about 1/2 inch thick).
  • Roll each patty in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
  • Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of onion powder or Parmesan cheese.
