Pie Crust

  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Brownie Pecan Filling

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.5 cup corn syrup
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the unbaked pie crust in the pie plate.
  • In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, chopped pecans, corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
  • Pour the brownie pecan mixture into the pie crust.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Let the pie cool completely before slicing and serving. This allows the filling to set properly.
  • Once cooled, slice and serve. Enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate brownie mix. You can also add a pinch of salt to enhance the sweetness.
