Instructions
Melt butter and olive oil (if using) in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
Stir in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for another minute, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low and stir in fresh parsley, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Add more Cajun seasoning for extra spice, salt for more saltiness, or lemon juice for brightness.
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
