Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter (1 stick)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Optional, for extra richness
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced

Seasonings & Herbs

  • 1 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning Adjust to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional, for extra heat
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt Adjust if Cajun seasoning is salty

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter and olive oil (if using) in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  • Stir in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for another minute, stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in fresh parsley, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt.
  • Simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Add more Cajun seasoning for extra spice, salt for more saltiness, or lemon juice for brightness.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

This sauce is best served fresh. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
