Cheesy Garlic Bread Dip

A warm, gooey, and incredibly delicious garlic bread dip that's perfect for movie nights, gatherings, or any cozy evening. It's fast, easy, and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

  • 2 heads garlic Roast until soft and golden brown.
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces cream cheese Room temperature, softened.
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese Divided.
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley For garnish.
  • Crostini or crackers For serving.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice off the top ¼ inch of each garlic head. Place each head on a piece of aluminum foil, drizzle with ½ teaspoon olive oil, and wrap snugly. Roast for 40-50 minutes until soft and golden brown.

  • Carefully unwrap the garlic, let it cool slightly, then squeeze the softened cloves out of their skins.

  • In a medium bowl, combine the roasted garlic, softened cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.

  • Transfer the dip mixture to an oven-safe dish.
  • Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup Parmesan cheese over the top.

Notes

Room temperature cream cheese is key for a smooth dip. Roast garlic until very soft for the best flavor. Can be prepped ahead.
