Meatloaf Mixture

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, diced onion, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Mix well and form into a meatloaf shape in the prepared baking dish.
Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the meatloaf.
Spread the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese evenly over the tater tots.
Drizzle with 1/2 cup ketchup and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the meatloaf is cooked through.
Let cool slightly before serving. Add extra ketchup as desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding Worcestershire sauce or brown sugar to the meatloaf mixture.
