Cheesy Tennessee Onions are incredibly easy to make and bursting with flavor!

Sweet onions baked to perfection with cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.

Ingredients
  

Onions and Butter

  • 2 large sweet onions sliced into rings
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Cheese and Breadcrumbs

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese grated
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss the sliced onions with melted butter.
  • Spread the onions evenly in a baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese over the onions.
  • Top with breadcrumbs.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the onions are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of paprika or garlic powder.
