Instructions
Roast poblano peppers until skin is blackened, then peel and chop.
In a bowl, combine chopped poblanos, queso fresco, cilantro, and cumin.
Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
Fold wontons and crimp edges to seal.
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, minced jalapeños, and lime juice.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Carefully fry wontons until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Serve immediately with the jalapeño soy sauce for dipping.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute the queso fresco with a vegan cheese alternative.
