Condensed Milk Fridge Tart – Grandma's Secret Recipe

Equipment

  • Slice tin Approximately 9 inch
  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 2 cups crushed biscuits
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted

Filling

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.5 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Combine crushed biscuits and melted butter.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the slice tin.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until the mixture thickens.
  • Pour the lemon filling over the biscuit base.
  • Smooth the top of the filling.
  • Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or until the tart is firm.
  • Once chilled, slice and serve.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use graham crackers instead of biscuits.
