  • 1 lb Sausage chicken sausage or Italian turkey sausage recommended
  • 2 cans (14.5-ounce) Chicken Broth
  • 1 can (28-ounce) Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 package (8-ounce) Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 package (18-20-ounce) Refrigerated Cheese Tortellini
  • 6 ounces Baby Spinach rough chop if leaves are large
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon Salt and Pepper to taste, optional
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan Cheese grated, for garnish
  • Fresh Basil Ribbons for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Brown the sausage in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon until nicely browned. Drain off excess grease.
