Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat; drain off any excess grease.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, potatoes, onions, diced tomatoes, and bell peppers.
Stir in the optional butter, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, salt, and pepper.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the casserole is heated through.
Let cool slightly before serving. Optional: Top with pepperoncini before serving.
