Easy & Addictive Cucumber Cream Cheese Dip

A super-fast, ridiculously delicious appetizer that is creamy, fresh, and savory. Takes less than 10 minutes to whip up and is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
Prep Time 10 minutes

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl medium-sized
  • Spoon or spatula for mixing
  • Hand mixer (optional) for mixing

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cucumber nice, crisp one
  • 4 green onions
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Grab a medium-sized mixing bowl. Add your nice and soft cream cheese. Seriously, make sure it's soft! Now, sprinkle in the onion powder, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
  • Using a spoon, spatula, or even a hand mixer (if you're feeling fancy, but it's not necessary!), mix everything together really well until it's smooth and creamy. Make sure there are no little pockets of plain cream cheese or spice clumps.
  • Time for the fresh stuff! Take your cucumber and finely dice it. We're talking small pieces here, so you get a little bit of crunch in every bite. For the green onions, thinly slice both the white and green parts.
  • Add the diced cucumber and sliced green onions right into the bowl with your creamy mixture.
  • Gently stir everything together until the cucumber and green onions are evenly distributed throughout the dip. Make sure you get those lovely green bits and white cucumber pieces all mixed in!
  • You can absolutely dive in right away if you just can't wait (I've been there!). But, for the best flavor and texture, I highly recommend covering the bowl and popping it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This lets the flavors meld and gets the dip nice and cold, which is divine!

Notes

Tips for Success:
- Ensure cream cheese is well softened before mixing.
- Dice cucumber into very small pieces for the best texture.
- Optionally, lightly pat diced cucumber dry with a paper towel to reduce excess moisture, especially if making ahead.
- Chilling the dip for at least 30 minutes is recommended for optimal flavor and texture.
Serving Suggestions:
This dip is excellent with Ritz crackers, Wheat Thins, veggie sticks (carrots, celery, bell peppers), pita chips, pretzels, or spread on mini toasts.
Storage:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Best enjoyed within 3-4 days. The cucumber may release some water over time; a quick stir will usually fix this.
