Prep Time 5 minutes

Equipment

  • punch bowl or large pitcher
  • Pitcher or large punch bowl

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 Gallon Good Quality Apple Cider
  • 48 oz Ginger Ale
  • 1 Red Apple thinly sliced (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala recommended)
  • 1 Green Apple thinly sliced (Granny Smith recommended)
  • 1 Navel Orange thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Frozen Cranberries
  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 5 Cinnamon Sticks for flavor infusion

Instructions

  • Grab Your Vessel: First things first, find your largest punch bowl or a really big pitcher (or two!). Make sure it's clean and ready for its festive duty.
  • Pour in the Liquids: Carefully pour in the entire gallon of apple cider. Then, gently add the 48 ounces of ginger ale. Try not to pour too vigorously to keep some of that bubbly fizz!
  • Add the Pretty Fruits: Now, toss in your thinly sliced red apples, green apples, and orange slices. Scatter those lovely frozen cranberries in there too. Aren't they just gorgeous?
  • Spice it Up: Sprinkle the tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice over the liquid and fruit.
  • Add the Cinnamon Sticks: Nestle the cinnamon sticks among the fruit. They look lovely and will slowly infuse the punch.
  • Give it a Gentle Stir & Chill: Give everything a light stir to combine the spice. Make sure the punch is well chilled before serving. The frozen cranberries will help, but if you have time, let it sit in the fridge for at least 30-60 minutes for the flavors to meld and the cinnamon sticks to work their magic. Serve it up and watch it disappear!

Notes

Tips for Success:
- Keep it Cold: Use frozen cranberries or an ice ring made of apple cider (freeze cider in a bundt pan or ring mold) instead of regular ice cubes to prevent dilution.
- Prep Ahead (Mostly): Slice fruit a few hours ahead. Combine apple cider, spices, and cinnamon sticks ahead of time to let flavors meld. Add ginger ale and sliced fruit just before serving to keep fizz and freshness.
- Fruit Placement: Spread fruit slices to float nicely throughout the punch.
Storage:
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Fizz from ginger ale diminishes over time, usually within 24 hours.
- Fruit will soften.
- Drinkable for 2-3 days, but best enjoyed fresh within the first day for optimal fizziness and appearance.
