Ingredients
  

Fruits and Vegetables

  • 0.5 bunch Dill weed, fresh
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 4 Tomatoes, large ripe
  • 0.25 White onion, small

Condiments and Oils

  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 0.25 cup Olive oil, extra-virgin
  • 1 Kosher salt and ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Wash and chop the dill (ing_1), garlic (ing_2), and onion (ing_4).
  • Core and slice the tomatoes (ing_3) into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar (ing_5), honey (ing_6), olive oil (ing_7), salt (ing_8), and pepper (ing_8).
  • Add the chopped dill (ing_1), garlic (ing_2), and onion (ing_4) to the bowl.
  • Gently toss the tomato slices (ing_3) in the marinade.
  • Transfer the marinated tomatoes (ing_3) to a storage container.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving, allowing the flavors to meld.
  • Serve chilled as a side dish or appetizer.

Notes

Adjust the amount of honey to your liking. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
