Ingredients
  

Pasta & Beef

  • 1 lb linguine pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef

Sauce & Seasoning

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add butter and olive oil to the skillet. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  • Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  • Stir in mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
