Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
Add butter and olive oil to the skillet. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
Stir in mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
