Healthy Chinese Ground Beef & Cabbage Stir Fry

Equipment

  • Large Wok or Skillet A wok is ideal, but a large skillet will work.

Ingredients
  

Protein & Aromatics

  • 1 lb Ground Beef Lean ground beef is recommended.
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Minced
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced

Vegetables

  • 1 head Cabbage Shredded
  • 1 cup Carrots Julienned
  • 1 bell pepper Bell Pepper Sliced
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat sesame oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned.
  • Add ginger and garlic; cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Stir in shredded cabbage, carrots, and bell pepper.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Pour in soy sauce and stir to combine.
  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Adjust soy sauce to your taste. Feel free to add other vegetables like broccoli or mushrooms.
