HOMEMADE CHEEZ-ITS

A delicious homemade version of the classic cheesy cracker.

Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, and cheese.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  • Use a biscuit cutter or knife to cut out desired shapes.
  • Place crackers onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes

For extra cheesy flavor, add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before baking.
