Ingredients

For the Butterbeer Base

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream The creamier, the better!
  • 2 cups cream soda Some for the base and some for special ice cubes.
  • 2 teaspoons imitation butter extract This is where that distinct, delicious butterscotch flavor comes from!
  • 1 teaspoon rum extract Don't worry, it’s non-alcoholic and just adds a deeper, warmer note.
  • 4 tablespoons butterscotch topping For that extra swirl of sweetness and color.
  • 1 cup cream soda This is the main liquid that brings it all together.
  • 1 pinch salt Just a tiny bit to balance out all that sweetness and make the flavors pop.

For the Topping

  • whipped cream For that fluffy, cloud-like topping – essential for the full Butterbeer experience!

Instructions

  • First things first, let's get our cream soda ice cubes ready. Pour your 2 cups of cream soda into an ice cube tray and pop it into the freezer. These will keep our Butterbeer perfectly chilled without diluting that amazing flavor.
    2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • Grab your blender. Now, add the vanilla ice cream, imitation butter extract, rum extract, butterscotch topping, and that 1 cup of cream soda. Don't forget the little pinch of salt – it's our secret ingredient for flavor perfection!
    2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • Secure the lid and blend everything until it's wonderfully smooth and creamy. You want it thick and luscious, like a dreamy milkshake.
  • Carefully pour your beautiful, frothy Butterbeer mixture into your favorite glasses.
  • Dollop a generous swirl of whipped cream right on top. Make it look as pretty as possible – you're creating edible art!
    2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • Now for the grand finale! Add a few of those pre-made cream soda ice cubes to each glass. Serve immediately and prepare to be transported to Hogsmeade. Enjoy every magical sip!

Notes

Make sure your cream soda ice cubes are fully frozen to prevent dilution. Blend just until smooth, as over-blending can make it too thin. Chill your serving glasses beforehand for an extra frosty experience. Leftover blended mixture can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week and re-blended with a splash more cream soda or scooped like ice cream.
