Lemon Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

Ingredients
  

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 4 ounces Cream cheese Softened
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar

Other Ingredients

  • 1 can Refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 ounces)
  • 1 tablespoon Milk For brushing
  • 1 tablespoon Coarse sugar For sprinkling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  • Spread a spoonful of the lemon cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the point.
  • Place the crescent rolls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops with milk and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes

These are best served warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
