Ingredients
  

Chicken & Breading

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup bread crumbs (plain or Italian-style)

Cheese & Seasoning

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika optional
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for searing
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Topping

  • 0.25 cup ranch dressing or creamy garlic dressing optional
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter optional

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
  • In a separate shallow dish, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
  • Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika (if using).
  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Top with ranch dressing or creamy garlic dressing and melted butter (optional).
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispy chicken, you can bread the chicken twice.
