Onion Beef Fried Rice

A flavorful fried rice dish with beef and onions.

  • Wok or large skillet A wok is ideal for even cooking.

Ingredients
  

Meat & Aromatics

  • 1 lb Beef sirloin Cut into small cubes
  • 1 large Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce

Rice & Vegetables

  • 2 cups Cooked rice Day-old rice is best
  • 1 cup Peas Frozen is fine
  • 1 cup Carrots Diced
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat sesame oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add beef and stir-fry until browned.
  • Add onion and garlic; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  • Add cooked rice, peas, and carrots. Stir-fry for 5 minutes, breaking up any rice clumps.
  • Pour in soy sauce and stir to combine.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

You can adjust the amount of soy sauce to your liking. Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or bell peppers.
