Pancake Sausage Casserole

  • 9x13 inch baking dish Or similar sized oven-safe dish

Ingredients
  

Pancake Batter

  • 1 box Pancake mix
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 egg Egg

Filling & Topping

  • 1 pound Sausage Cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Chopped green onions For garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare pancake batter according to package directions, using milk and egg.
  • Cook sausage until browned and crumbled; drain excess grease.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Pour half of the pancake batter into the prepared baking dish.
  • Spread the cooked sausage evenly over the batter. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  • Pour remaining pancake batter over the sausage and cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

Can be made ahead and reheated.
