Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 2 cups yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • Pour melted butter into the prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle pecans evenly over the melted butter.
  • In a large bowl, combine yellow cake mix, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Pour the dry ingredients over the pecans in the pan.
  • Pour water and vanilla extract evenly over the dry ingredients.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
