Pull-Apart Pizza Bread

  • Large bowl
  • Small bowl

Ingredients
  

Hauptzutaten

  • 24 ounces flaky biscuits Refrigerated cans
  • 16 ounces whole milk mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 1 cup thin pepperoni slices

Flavor Mixture

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic Fresh is best
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 teaspoon kosher salt

For Dipping

  • 16 ounces pizza sauce Your favorite jarred sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • Open biscuit cans, separate biscuits, and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  • In a large bowl, toss biscuit pieces, shredded mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni slices.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and kosher salt.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the biscuit, cheese, and pepperoni mixture. Gently toss to coat evenly.
  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown.
  • While the pizza bread is baking, warm the pizza sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly.
  • Let the pizza bread cool for a minute, then serve warm with the warmed pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to customize with your favorite cheeses, meats, or vegetables. Ensure any added vegetables are cooked down slightly to avoid sogginess.
