Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the onion is soft and translucent.

  • Stir in cream of mushroom soup, frozen mixed vegetables, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Heat through until it reaches a gentle simmer.

  • Pour the meat and vegetable mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the meat mixture.

Notes

This casserole can be assembled up to a day in advance and refrigerated. Add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from chilled.
