Ingredients
  

Vegetables

  • 1 medium head of cabbage Shredded
  • 2 pounds potatoes Peeled and cubed
  • 1 medium onion Chopped

Protein and Seasoning

  • 1 pound smoked sausage Sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions
 

  • Place the shredded cabbage, cubed potatoes, and chopped onion in the slow cooker.
  • Add the sliced smoked sausage, minced garlic, and dried thyme to the slow cooker.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the ingredients.
  • Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the potatoes are tender.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

You can adjust the amount of chicken broth to your liking. For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
