Southwest Ranch Recipe

Ingredients
  

Dairy & Herbs

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh cilantro Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh chives Chopped

Southwest Spices

  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cumin Ground
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cayenne pepper Optional, for extra heat
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice Freshly squeezed

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise and sour cream.
  • Add the chopped cilantro and chives.
  • Stir in the chili powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  • Add the lime juice.
  • Whisk all ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. You may want to add more lime juice for extra tang or cayenne for more heat.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Serve with your favorite vegetables, chips, or as a salad dressing.

Notes

For a thicker dressing, use less sour cream or add a tablespoon of Greek yogurt.
