Spinach Dip Cheese Crisps

These crispy cheesy bites are packed with spinach and flavor, perfect as an appetizer or snack! They're surprisingly easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

  • * 2 cups fresh spinach chopped
  • * 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • * 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • * ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • * 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • * ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • * ½ teaspoon salt
  • * 1 tablespoon olive oil optional, for greasing the baking sheet
  • * ¼ teaspoon black pepper optional
  • * ½ cup milk or heavy cream optional, for thinner dip

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly grease the parchment paper with olive oil, if desired.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper (if using). Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  • Stir in the chopped spinach. If you prefer a thinner dip, add milk or heavy cream, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Using a spoon or a small cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of the spinach mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each spoonful.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy and the center is heated through. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  • Remove from the oven and let the cheese crisps cool slightly on the baking sheet before carefully transferring them to a serving plate.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat. You can also substitute other cheeses, such as cheddar or Gruyere, for some of the mozzarella or Parmesan. If you don't have fresh spinach, you can use frozen spinach, but be sure to thaw and squeeze out as much excess water as possible before adding it to the mixture.
