Cake Batter

  • 1 box yellow or white cake mix
  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling

Cheesecake Topping

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Pour the cake mix into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly over the cake mix.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry pie filling.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and the topping is set.
  • Let cool completely before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese. You can also add a sprinkle of chopped nuts or fresh strawberries before baking.
