THE BEST STEAK MARINADE!

A flavorful marinade for rib eye steaks, perfect for grilling or pan-searing.

Ingredients
  

Marinade Ingredients

  • 0.33 cup soy sauce
  • 0.33 cup lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

Steak and Garnish

  • 4 rib eye steaks
  • 4 tbsp cold butter cut into 1 tbsp pats
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasonings
  • 0.125 tsp red pepper flakes
  • finely chopped parsley for garnish
  • sea salt to taste *optional

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  • Place the rib eye steaks in a resealable bag or shallow dish.
  • Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are fully coated.
  • Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  • Preheat your grill or pan to high heat.
  • Remove steaks from marinade and discard marinade. Season steaks with sea salt (optional).
  • Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, adding butter pats during the last minute of cooking for extra flavor.
  • Let steaks rest for 5-10 minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.

Notes

For a more intense flavor, marinate the steaks overnight. Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
